If you have a structurally sound floor whether new or old it can be polished. We have tackled many different concrete floors and have the experience and expertise to make yours shine. For new floors the concrete needs to be placed at least 28 before grinding and polishing can start, this is to ensure adequate curing of the concrete.
MPA – We also recommend that if pouring a new slab that the concrete should be specified at 30 mpa, this gives us a better starting point to give you the perfect polished floor.
The process of mechanically grinding and polishing a concrete floor is a multi step process where the floor is initially ground to achieve the correct exposure then honed and polished to the desired level of finish before a penetrating stain guard is applied to the surface to give the floor some stain protection.
